Safety First – Actros Lorries
Our two new Mercedes-Benz Actros First Edition lorries have arrived! Only 400 worldwide with only 33 in the UK.
At C.W. Surfacing, safety is our No.1 priority, and the Actros is the best lorry on the market. With new assistance systems such as the Proximity Control Assist, driver’s airbag and the fifth-generation Active Brake Assist you and your cargo are always safe when out on the road. The Actros can perform emergency braking when approaching stationary and moving objects, and perform partial or full braking for moving pedestrians, thus mitigating or even preventing accidents entirely.
The camera system comprises two high-resolution fold-up cameras that are mounted on the upper roof frame. Thank you to Samuel Scott at Advanced Vehicle Alarms, for adding integrated reversing camera into the multimedia cockpit screen, beacons and inverters for the drivers.
With a custom reflective wrap, this increases the safety features one step further. A big thank you to Sam Lishman Vinyl Signs and Designs for the reflective livery.
